Motorbags Tank Bag Installation Instructions
(Model TR901, SP909, SP940)



Step 1: Verify that you have the installation parts ( see Fig. 1 ):  

2 x non-slip belt
4 x belt clip

Step 2:
Begin by placing a belt clip on the table, with the stamping “HK L20” side down and the circular side pointing right ( see Fig. 2a ).

Thread the end of the belt up and through the leftmost slot and down through the second slot. ( Fig 2b )

Step 3:
Now wrap the belt around one of the strap clips on the bag, and thread the belt up through the middle slot of the belt clip.   Then thread the end of the belt down through the right slot.   ( Fig. 3 ) The belt should now be secure from slippage.

Step 4:
Attach the other belt clip to the other side, but only halfway, we will come back to this later ( see Fig. 4a ).  

Repeat for the other tank bag clip. ( Fig. 4b )

Step 5:
Position the bag on your motorcycle.   Adjust the position as desired, then run the rubber belts underneath the tank and around the other side.   Don’t forget to remove any magnets if your tank is non-metallic.




Step 6:
Tighten the belts by pulling on the free end.   The belts should be taut, but not stretched.   If they are stretching you will need to use longer fasteners, perhaps bungee cords or nylon straps available at your local fabric store.
